Assignment 3: Can Film Show the Invisible?
Capture, using video, a NON VISUAL experience, i.e. a smell, texture, taste or sound.
This is an exercise in abstraction and experimentation. How do you transcend conventions of visual representation? Can sound-image montage be used to evoke something more than the sum of their parts?
Pay close attention to formal elements of scale, time, color, pattern, and audio in your work.
This is a ONE MINUTE project. You make work individually or in pairs. Feel free to re-address the subject matter of assignment 2 from this new perspective.
